Multi-series program planned for 2022
With the goal to get back to pre-Covid perception and performance, Indianapolis-based Alliance Racing is primed and ready for the 2022 race season. With plans to compete in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda and the new USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires program, Alliance Racing is anxious to get the season started.
“We are excited to get back on track and do so in a manner that will allow us to compete with the top teams in the series,” explained Toney Edwards. “Rather than work out of our farm-based shop, we have acquired a shop in Brownsburg, Indiana that provides us the space needed to do the job right and puts us closer to resources needed to run a proper race team.”
With four Ligier JSF4s in their possession and two Ligier JSF3s, Alliance Racing has solidified a new 7500 square foot shop and has completed numerous test days throughout December. With additional test programs on the schedule for January and February, Alliance Racing is set to be a contender in 2022.
Edwards added, “We are adding a crew and a high-quality engineer to our efforts to make sure that we have all the necessary people in place. We have gained a lot of equipment in the Covid-era that has allowed us to increase our level of preparation and perception. We are working hard to elevate our entire program and hope to have some driver announcements very soon.”
