Top junior formula race team adds motorsports veteran and entrepreneur to ownership
BROWNSBURG, IN – Exclusive Autosport owner Michael Duncalfe is pleased to announce that he has a new partner in his motorsport’s operation, which currently campaigns three teams in the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire. Long-time racer and successful entrepreneur Joshua Cooley has joined the team as a co-owner and both Duncalfe and Cooley are incredibly excited and motivated to optimize their collective strengths to grow and expand the business into the future.
“The past 11 years have been an incredible journey building Exclusive Autosport into what it is today,” enthused Michael Duncalfe, Team Principal. “I am grateful to my wife Kimberly, who has been beside me every step of the way, and to all of our clients and crew, past and present, who have played a role in shaping Exclusive Autosport into the team it is today. I am honored to officially welcome Joshua to Exclusive Autosport and I am excited to embark on the next chapter of this journey. I believe our skills, knowledge, and expertise will be complementary and will enable Exclusive Autosport to have steady growth and be able to provide many additional opportunities for all of our drivers and crew members to further their careers in the motorsports industry.”
Cooley brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen to the company, as well as a lifelong passion for motorsports, in which he has competed as a driver in several different disciplines. Joshua has been a successful entrepreneur for over 30 years and is currently the president, and CEO of ITI Intermodal. While being a successful businessman, Cooley has had a long time passion for motorsports. With his brother and cousins, he’s competed in dirt track street stocks, modifieds, and late models and while he’s currently focused on the racing efforts of his son’s Evan and Brenden, he still gets behind the wheel occasionally.
“I am extremely excited to partner with Michael and his team to help Exclusive Autosport in this next stage of growth,” said Joshua Cooley. “As the owner of one of the premier open-wheel racing teams boasting an impressive winning track record across F1600, USF Juniors, USF2000, USF Pro 2000 levels, Michael has built a model racing platform which is poised to capitalize on the sport’s growing demographics and reach. I very much look forward to working with Michael and his team in combining our respective strengths and experience to help Exclusive Autosport become the elite open-wheel racing team in North America.”
Exclusive Autosport currently runs teams at all three levels of the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire and has plans for future expansion and further company developments.
