DEForce Racing has confirmed that Lucas Fecury will join the squad in the 2023 USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires ranks. The 18-year-old from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil contested three rounds of the championship this season with a best finish of 10th at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car course. Fecury made the transition to cars last year after a successful karting career which included vice champion honors in the 2021 ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour and the 2020 Brazilian Kart Champion title.
“I am very excited to race with DEForce,” said Fecury. “I’m glad for this great opportunity to contribute with the team for the 2023 season. Certainly, it is a great opportunity to develop even more my skills for next year. I would like to thank Ernesto and David. I’ve been learning a lot with them during the winter tests in the U.S. I can’t wait for the season to start!”
