Ingratta aiming high following two solid races at Barber Motorsports Park
KINGSVILLE, Ont., Canada – USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire travels to VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) for rounds six, seven and eight of the 2024 season. After more than a month away from the last USF Juniors round, Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) driver Ayden Ingratta is ready to get back on track.
Last time out at Barber Motorsports Park, Ingratta fought forward in both races, gaining seven positions in race one to finish 13th and gaining and additional seven positions again in race two to finish eighth.
“We had two good races in Barber, fighting forward in both races and scoring a top-ten finish,” Ingratta said. “I’m excited to return with the JHDD crew, and I can’t wait to see what we can do this weekend.”
Following three test sessions on Friday, the triple-header weekend officially starts Saturday with practice, followed by qualifying and race one. Races two and three are scheduled to take place on Sunday.
“Three races give us three chances for some great results,” Ingratta added. “We’ve shown that we can move forward in the races, so if we can qualify a bit further up, I’m confident we can fight at the front.”
