Championship winning program expands to fill ladder
Already fielding entries in two of three series in the USF Pro Championships Presented by Cooper Tires, Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) is expanding down to continue the growth of their internal ladder program. Confirming additional JHDD entries for the complete 2024 season in USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires, JHDD will make their series debut in August at Road America before traveling to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) later that month.
The team will now focus all of their efforts on USF Pro Championships.
“It is an exciting time at JHDD as we have had this on our radar for quite a while, along with potential additional expansion in the future,” expressed Jay Howard. “We want to take drivers from karting and through our own ladder program and upwards to the top level of racing in North America.”
As race winners in both their USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires and USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires efforts, JHDD currently sits first and fifth in the USF2000 championship points chase and has a powerful resume full of race wins and championships over the past several race seasons.
Howard continued, “The ladder to INDYCAR is gaining momentum and the competition is fierce. We want to be involved on every level and grow the JHDD image and brand.”
Jay Howard Driver Development will be on track this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for USF2000 and USF Pro 2000 races with their first USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires event August 11-13 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
