USF Juniors debuts at new Ozarks International Raceway
With multiple race wins and podium results already to his credit in 2022, Noah Ping will be aiming for more this weekend. Taking on the opening round of a brand new series at a brand new facility, Ping will pilot a Velocity Racing Development (VRD) prepared machine in the opening event of USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires.
“I am looking forward to the start of another new series,” explained Ping. “I have had some success in both the YACademy Winter Series and the F4 United States Championship, so I am excited about the USF Juniors program beginning this weekend. As a group, we have put a lot of effort into making sure we are 100% ready for the weekend, so I am anxious to get started.”
Taking on the 3.97-mile Ozarks International Raceway, a newly constructed facility in Gravois, Missouri, the new series, and track, provides a fresh slate as well as an equal and level playing field for all teams and competitors.
Ping continued, “We have put our time in testing, and I am confident that we are ready. Dan Mitchell and his VRD effort put together a top notch program so anything less than a win or podium results will be disappointing.”
It will be a jam-packed two weeks for Noah Ping as immediately following the three-race event weekend at the Ozarks facility, he will travel south to Birmingham, Alabama to the 17-turn, 2.3-mile picturesque Barber Motorsports Park just a few days later.
Ping added, “Ozarks and Barber are two completely different facilities, and I think both will take a different skill and mindset for the weekend. Either way, I am up for the challenge and look forward to some more wheel-to-wheel racing.”
Ping will hit the track on Friday for the first test session in an action packed weekend. Please find the complete weekend schedule below.
