Established in 2019, Pole Position Motorsports initially competed with Formula 4 cars, honing their racing skills through track days and consistent participation in the YACademy Winter Series. The team has been fortunate to develop drivers of remarkable talent including Nikita Johnson and Alex Powell, who is part of the Mercedes AMG F1 Junior Program, among others.
Since 2021, the team has transitioned from Formula 4 to the latest USF Juniors cars, reflecting a strategic shift towards more advanced technology and series with more talented drivers. This summer, Pole Position Motorsports has further advanced its program by acquiring a third USF Juniors car, marking a significant milestone in the team's growth.
The upcoming season will see Pole Position Motorsports tackling some of the most iconic tracks in the United States, starting with the renowned Road America in September. The team will also compete at other legendary race tracks such as Barber Motorsports Park, Sebring International Raceway and the Homestead-Miami Speedway, their local track.
Looking towards the end of 2024, Pole Position Motorsports is setting its sights on an ambitious goal: to race on all tracks of the series, participate in the YACademy Winter Series, and make a strong push for a full-season engagement in the championship at the start of 2025.
Leveraging its extensive experience with open-wheel cars, the team has assembled a top-tier group of mechanics, engineers and coaches. This expert support is aimed at providing competitive track support and helping its drivers to advance in their racing career.
