Quinn Armstrong sped to his third win of the season and second in succession for DEForce Racing as the Cooper Tires Grand Prix of Road America tripleheader kicked off this afternoon with an eventful 10-lap race.

There will be two major talking points this weekend as the second season of USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires reaches toward its conclusion with a visit to “America’s National Park of Speed” at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis.

Australian Quinn Armstrong closed out an impressive run in the Cooper Tires Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio doubleheader with victory in today’s final leg at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. It was the second win of the season for the 16-year-old DEForce Racing driver in USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires competition.

Brazilian Nicolas Giaffone extended his already impressive advantage in the chase for the USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires championship by heading another DEForce Racing one-two today in the first of two races that will comprise the Cooper Tires Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio.

Brazilian teenager Nicolas Giaffone holds a commanding lead in the USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires points table as the second half of the 16-race season begins later this week, July 7/8, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
