Nicolas Giaffone and DEForce Racing have taken control of the USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires title-chase following an emphatic performance today at Barber Motorsports Park.

A field of 15 cars is entered for the Cooper Tires Grand Prix of Alabama, which will comprise the fourth and fifth rounds of the 16-race season, at the impressive 2.3-mile Barber Motorsports Park facility located just outside Birmingham, Ala., on Friday, April 28.

Racing out of the VRD Racing stable and after the results during the first event weekend in Florida, both Lockhart and his team are eager to get back on track in Leeds, Alabama over the April 27-30 race weekend.

VRD Racing, has announced the signing of Hudson Schwartz, a 13-year-old driver from the State of Virginia, to their team for the 2023 season. ​

Ram Racing will expand its current motorsports operation to a two-car squad in USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires beginning with the second round on the 2023 schedule – a doubleheader at Barber Motorsports Park in support of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES headline event.
